I just wanted to tell you all that my daughter has tried all the dance schools and clubs that offer streetdance but she was not happy with any of them as she claimed it was not proper street dance and they do not allow them to go to the big competitions!
Well my daughter joined dance domain and started to attend competitions once they said she was ready. She is loving it, she has just come back last week from a competition and met Akia, chris & wes who are on Sky1 Got to dance and she done really well in her competition considering the time she has been with them.
From what I have seen from the Dance Domain pupils winning at such prestigious events such as the British Championships I can highly reccomend them for street dance and just look on their website and your see just how many of there pupils have success, lots of 1st places!!
Hope this helps any parent and saves them wasting their time and money like i did, but finally found the right one, and cant thank them enough for the confidence they have given my daughter.
Hi All – Thought let you know:
The Streetdance Classes are now at the Westgate Community Centre. Lymington Road, CT6 8SE
They have moved from the Westgate Pavilion as it was like a fridge, so cold and always building work taking place during the classes, and access was poor for mums with prams not to mention the poles that effect the dance floor area, so they have moved the classes to WESTGATE COMMUNITY CENTRE – see http://www.dancedomain.net for more info.

i’m looking for fun dance classes for my 3 year old twin daughters to help build confidence and get an idea of dance in general as they love to dance around the house and even when we’re out and about ! ?? is there anything like that we can take them to in thanet ??

I love going to Dance Domain in Thanet. Our Dance teacher Glen is BRILLIANT! He has taught me alot. The compertions are great fun. You should come along and see for yourself no need to be shy we all have to learn new things all the time. It doesn’t matter if you don’t get things write the 1st time just enjoy it.

Luvin it, best street dance in area, proper street dance! its well good, ive moved to sittingbourne now from ramsgate but they have classes there too was gutted when had to move cuz might not be able to go anymore!
DanceDomain is amazing, my mum found out about it, not sure how, but I went along thinking be boring like the other ones ive been too and it was brill the teacher is great and so are the routines and now im doing proper street dance and soon going to enter competitions. They are forming street dance crews soon too and hope i can be in it.
its really good fun even when i get it wrong with practice you can get it right.I really enjoy it even when the teacher is cheeky to me, ha ha
Great just what my daughter was looking for, tried other street classes but they was more like jazz and as she really wants to do competitions in street dance when we found this school and looked at the website and all what they offer the children was amazed that it was in thanet. I used to dance myself and my younger sister goes to classes in london, and she came along and said the cheography was like in london, and looking at all the awards won by young children this is so good for thanet kids… excuse the pun!
