This month we’ve been lucky enough to hook up with Fisher-Price who are putting up two special
Thomas & Friends prize sets. The Fat Controller will be visiting Thanet in person on 30th March and as part of the event, we are running this competition. The full details are below.

How do you win? Because we’ve got two prizes, there are two ways to win. First, just find one of your favourite kid’s attractions on this site and leave a comment to say why you think it’s good. The comment that is likely to be most helpful to other parents using the ThanetKids website will win.

The second way to win is to recommend somewhere you take your kids that’s not currently listed on ThanetKids. We’ll pick one of these at random to choose the winner. You can make a recommendation by clicking on the ‘Contact’ button top right.

The Fat Controller Celebrates 65 Years of Thomas & Friends with Kent Fans at Smyths Toys Superstore 12pm – 5pm Tuesday 30th March Smyths Toys Superstore, Unit 1, Phase 2 Westwood Cross Thanet Kent CT10 2BF

Thomas & Friends have been entertaining preschoolers everywhere for a huge 65 years with their tales from the Island of Sodor. Now little fans in Kent are set to share in the show’s anniversary celebrations as The ‘real-life’ Fat Controller visits Smyths Toys Superstore in Thanet on Tuesday 30th March.

The much loved character, well known for his top hat and tails, will be taking time out from his day job as head of the railway to personally meet fans in Thanet. Little fans will have chance to meet the famous head of the railway, have pictures taken with him and take home a special Fat Controller postcard as a reminder of their day. On top of this they will also get to see the brand new Fisher-Price
Thomas & Friends Take n Play collection.

To celebrate The Fat Controller coming to Thanet, we’re giving away two Fisher-Price Thomas & Friends prize packs! Each prize packs include one small Talking Engines, which bring your favourite trains to life likenever before, and a Take n Play Thomas at the Farm, the perfect place to recreate Thomas adventures on the go!
